Troublemakers was born from connection, creativity, and a shared vision for something new. We—Naomi, Danielle, and Mike—first connected through our work on the steering committee of a therapist community, where we discovered our shared passion for creating spaces where therapists could express themselves freely and authentically.
Our collaborative experience was invaluable—we learned about community building, developed deep respect for collective leadership, and witnessed the power of bringing therapists together. This experience gave us a solid foundation in creating supportive professional spaces while showing us possibilities for new kinds of communities.
Through our work together, we recognized an opportunity to create something new: a space specifically designed to nurture the artist within the healer. We envisioned a community where therapists could step out of the role of space-holder and into their creative power—where making trouble could be celebrated as necessary resistance.
Troublemakers honors the foundations of community building while growing in new directions. We carry forward the values of collaboration, mutual support, and shared wisdom that we cultivated together in our previous work.
